no official announcement yet, but Chery & GAC are among the names. Apparently Chery is being brought in by Ghandhara, not too sure if this will make you excited or disappointed. However they are expected to bring CUVs and will showcase their products most likely by year end

Any news on this? This sort of died off, I haven’t heard anything new regarding this news.

I instantly panicked after reading this, because it meant that annual IMPORTS of vehicles from these assemblers would increase from a economic burden of 250,000 to an eye blistering 6-8 million in 5 years time.

Not even a year into this “Auto Policy” and they’re already considering to change it? I guess they have finally realized their terrible mistake and have finally learnt not to trust the whispers of PAMA and finally listen to the screams of everyone else… Or have they?
