This is the most stupid argument I have ever seen, Pakistan is not developed country so i cant make modern cars due to lack of technical expertise but that is the point why cars are bought from foreign manufacturers in the first place. It is not pakistans duty to transfer technology but it is the countries responsibility who milk Pakistan and give nothing in return the manufacturers like suzuki and Toyota perfom even shamefully to their own standards compared to other similar countries, also car is no high science, Pakistan is more than capable of making a dumb car it’s not a device of 2020s it’s the science of 1900s. If only government can back students and researchers instead of supporting mafias like auto and housing societies

Africa makes cars. Africa! Cars there are not assembled, they are manufactured.

You have countries like Morocco and Brazil making cars. What kind of technological advancements do they have? Do they make their own fighter jets? Do they make their own computers?? No! Their GDP is mostly tourism and simple primary/agriculture economy like you said. Yet they are able to manufacture cars no problem. How is that?

Car manufacturing has nothing to do with the country’s primary GDP. If you think that there aren’t manufactured cars here because the people here are illiterate, congratulations! Cars here aren’t manufactured simply because the companies selling them don’t want to manufacture them. It has nothing to do with how many Oxford certified degrees you have or the amount of capabilities you have.
