Now, Pakistan have better options to buy latest car having safety and technologies, like MG 5, Hyundai Elantra, upcoming car Changan UNI-V, Chery Cowin Xuandu.

Do a “boss” move like PakSuzuki and take the athletic long jump of skipping five generations 😆😜

Or perhaps they’re just waiting for the “costly and expensive” TNGA platform to retire from one of the international plants when the 13th gen gets launched so they can purchase the dyes and assembly jigs from them at a hefty discount. 😉

Skipping a generation can sometimes be beneficial. The same happens with Windows (Microsoft Windows) – one version is good and the next one isn’t.

Atlas could have skipped the Civic X and continued selling the Rebirth. It was way way way better in quality and came with options like manual gear. Their “upgrade” to tenth gen hasn’t been very good.
Instead they chose to apply this “skipping a generation” theory to Honda City sixth gen – unsuccessfully since in the end they ended up bringing sixth gen when it was obsolete rather than the seventh gen which is fresh.

But it has to be seen the generation is being skipped is the worse one and the one being availed is first class.

Afternote: Skipping 10 generations is never beneficial though.

according to my information the plants needs heavy upgrade to move on to TNGA.. that said, its already 3 years and they should have done it by now. the thing is if the older one is still selling higher than the Yaris, why invest? 🙂 nevertheless the plant is being upgraded and once the craze of 11th gen Civic is over, we might see the new Corolla perhaps in 2023, who knows they may even skip the generation like they did with 8th gen and directly launch the 13th gen in 2024 🙂
