The agreement will entail garbage collection by the Chinese company in South and East districts of the city. The Chinese company will collect garbage from citizen’s houses, free of charge.

While trashcans and large-sized garbage containers will be installed in localities of the two districts (likely east & south district), government is also planning to sign a similar agreement for other districts of Karachi.

First batch of 2,000 units of garbage collection/sanitation equipment have already been sent to Karachi via CPEC by Wu Zheng group.
