The Vios carries a 2NR-FBE 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i engine that produces 108 hp at 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm, with CVT (with seven virtual ratios) as standard across the range. Manual transmission is not offered at all. Safety-wise, the Vios comes standard with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, a collision safety body (GOA), Isofix rear child seat anchors, as well as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and traction control.

Vios is subcompact sedan by Toyota, which is primarily produced for emerging markets in the Asia Pacific region. It is considered as one of the most successful in its class with global sales already exceeding 1.5 million units. The Vios is one of those cars which can become a huge success in our country, and like other Asian regions will give a tough competition to its arch rival Honda City.
