The all new Maruti Wagon R has started to reach dealerships in India ahead of its launch, and its completely undisguised images inside & out have now appeared on the internet.

In response to the competition, particularly the newly launched Hyundai Santro, Maruti Suzuki has added a touchscreen infotainment system and steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls to the Wagon R for the very first time.
The multi-function steering wheel has been picked from the Maruti Ignis, while the center console has a ‘floating’ design integrating the gearshift lever to free up space on the floor. Although the color scheming remains familiar with the outgoing model, the overall design isn’t as impressive as one might have expected.

As for the engines, the Wagon R along with its 1.0 liter engine will also offer a 1.2 liter unit for the first time. The engines will be paired to either 5-speed manual or the AGS (auto gear shift) transmission.
The official launch of the all-new Maruti Suzuki WagonR will take place on the 23rd of January 2019 with priced expected to start around INR 4.25 lac.
