After Civic sedan and coupe, the 10th generation Civic hatchback has now received mid-life facelift for the 2020 model year in the U.S market.

The new Civic Hatchback looks more aggressive thanks to a revised lower apron that features a body-colored crossbar that links the fog lamp housings. Furthermore just as with the sedan and coupe, the new Civic hatchback revised fog light surrounds, black headlight trim, and new wheels. Changes to the rear end mimics that of the front.

Inside, there is new dash trim to differentiate the trim levels, with Sport cars sporting a new geometrical pattern, LX and EX receive a new painted pattern, while EX-L and Sport Touring get a brushed black treatment. Additional sound insulation in the floor, trunk, and front and rear fenders have also been fitted across the range.

Features include an 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat for EX trims (previously manually operated) and new leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. As for Sport versions, the 7-inch Display Audio infotainment system now comes with 8 speakers (previously 4), as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. There is also keyless entry and start, operable via the key fob, plus new seat upholstery and embossed dash trim similar to its sedan equivalent. The Sport Touring trims also now come with HomeLink to activate devices such as garage door openers.
