Hyundai Tucson Launching Soon in Pakistan

Hyundai-Nishat has started to run a teaser campaign on social media indicating the imminent launch of Tucson compact crossover SUV in Pakistan. The Hyundai Tucson was put on display at the recently commenced Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS 2020) and is expected to take on the likes of Kia Sportage upon its arrival.

For Pakistan, the Tucson will come equipped with a 2.0-liter petrol engine that produces 155 hp of power and 192 Nm of peak torque. So far Hyundai hasn’t revealed whether the vehicle will come paired with a 6-speed automatic or 7-speed DCT, however it will have an all-wheel-drive system on offer.

The Tucson is currently in its 3rd generation that was launched back in 2015 and received a facelift in 2019. Tucson was first displayed at Hyundai-Nishat groundbreaking ceremony held back in December 2017 and has been part of the company’s launch plans for Pakistan ever since it made its re-entry here.

There is no information on the price as of yet however considering how Hyundai-Nishat has priced their previous vehicles; the Tucson is likely going to cost between PKR 6.0 million to PKR 7.0 million. Stay tuned to CarSpiritPK for more information on 2020 Hyundai Tucson launch in Pakistan.
