The Elantra N Line adds more spice to the already aggressive looking sedan. There is a more vigorous cascading front grille with mesh inserts, redesigned air inlets, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with larger brakes, and twin exhaust pipes. Other exterior finishes include gloss black side mirror caps, N Line window surrounds, and side skirts and N Line badges on both exterior & interior.

According to Hyundai’s product division chief Thomas Schemera:

“Elantra N Line offers a more aggressive design that incorporates N Line’s signature red accents inside and out at an attractive price. This will definitely satisfy those who are looking to join the Hyundai N community.”

Hyundai’s performance versions are labeled as under the N moniker. The Hyundai N line-up currently boasts a range of high-performance cars such as the Veloster N, i30 N and i30 Fastback N.

Although the South Korean automaker hasn’t released any technical information about the Elantra N Line, it is assumed that the high-performance version will get the 2.0 liter T-GDi four-cylinder engine as the other N models, with at least 250 hp of power and 350 Nm of torque at its disposal. Transmission will most likely be a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or the 2021 Veloster N’s new 8-speed unit. Suspension changes might include an independent, multi-link rear suspension instead of the standard Elantra’s twist-beam setup.
