But lower prices aren’t meant to be a compromise on safety, features or equipment. On the outside, the Alsvin gets Projector headlights (with LED DRLs on the Platinum version), side mirrors with integrated indicators, and alloy wheels as standard.  Inside there is a very impressive looking dashboard design having a floating 7-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, speedometer with MID & multi-function flat-bottomed steering wheel as standard. The top-of-the-line Platinum variant is further differentiated by its height adjustable driver’s seat, additional speakers (four from two), leather seats, and a sunroof.

Master Motors, the venture partner of Changan in Pakistan is on the verge of introducing the Alsvin sedan in Pakistan that will take on the likes of Toyota Yaris and Honda City as well as the upcoming Proton Saga & BAIC D20 sedans. Although the company has been tight-lipped about releasing any information about the car but according to sources, the base variant of Alsvin may battle with base variants of Saga and D20 to be called as the cheapest sedan in Pakistan.

As per information the Changan Alsvin will be better equipped than the competition and its higher variants will be priced competitively too. We will have to wait to see if the prices are as catchy as those in Philippines and whether the locally offered Alsvin will also come available in two engines or not. However if prices & specs are kept similar for Pakistani market, the Alsvin holds a strong chance to create real problems for its rivals.
