In comparison, the local assembled RS in Pakistan is 75.49 lac PKR. Again, almost 7 lac PKR MORE in Pakistan!!! 🤯 Looking at the prices, why are we locally assembling the damn things if it is costing us more?! These companies are not putting in the effort to increase local parts manufacturing that will ultimately lower prices. They are only importing parts and assembling here. It is adding cost and is in no way benefitting the local economy or consumer. There is no talk of export either and the local assembly numbers are so low that we have a very serious problem of own/premium on every vehicle sold! Local scalpers had at work! 😡 So again, what is the benefit of local assembling?! 🤷‍♂️😡]]> One other point that is of utmost importance here is that the BR-V, like almost ALL cars and SUVs etc sold in Philippines, IS AN IMPORT! That means that the latest gen BR-V in the Philippines for the S model is 42.49 lac PKR. In Pakistan the local assembled OLDER gen S model BR-V is 49.39 lac PKR. That means it is almost 7 lac PKR MORE in Pakistan!!! 🤯
