In reply to Khurram. But Khurram, what you and waqas consider a true 4*4, this Toyota crown cross is NOT. This will not have a ladder frame chassis. Like the article also states, this will be a crossover fastback. NOT an SUV either. A fastback is an automotive styling feature, defined by the rear of the car having a single slope from the roof to the tail. So basically this is a sedan on stilts. Also like the article states this will have and all wheel drive system just like any other cross over like the kia sportage. So how is the crown crossover better and how is it's all wheels drive system a 4*4 and the kia sportage is not? There seems to be much confusion...

Sighs, perhaps Toyota should reconsider its strategy of designing bland and decent looking cars because this bumper is a blot over the decent looks that were attributed to Toyota Crown. On the other hand, I salute Toyota for creating this type of a crossover because people have been misguided into believing KIA Sportage as a 4*4 all because of it looks.
Of course less gifted people like certain commentators showing their aptitude less names on this blog have a large contribution to spread of misinformation under their belts. I hope that a baseless argument against brother Waqas over a 4*4 and S.U.V. is still available on this blog. That debate is a proof against Pakistanis actually being no more than loud speakers who want to play the hero at a level that is more than their true worth. No wonder Pakistani economy is worsening people have become disabled, ill-informed and loud speakers.

Since Toyota literally invented crossovers, black plastic trim and the concept of mobility, they are free to do and change the function and meaning of a crossover as they want! I am patiently waiting for PakSuzuki to follow Good Old Toyota's path and launch Suzuki Bolan crossover (with plastic mud guards and lifted suspension)
