It gives the car companies an opportunity to reduce the price of their lower trims (upper trims for Cultus) and make sales.
Or altogether stop assembling underpowered cars with undersized engines and only sell the UG trims, because when the lower trims and upper trims are priced the same whose going to buy the lower trim?

It would be good if the article is edited to be more in depth, with a chart showing the existing and the new prices of affected trims and a comparison with the other trims.
