Thank you for reminding me that I shouldn’t ignore any kind of noise coming from my car since they may lead to bigger problems or more expensive repairs. I’ve been hearing rattling noises coming from my car that sounds like a bunch of marbles rattling around in a plastic bucket. It might be because of a bad vanos, so I’m thinking of looking for an S54 Vanos Rebuild to fix it.

It’s helpful to know that the hissing from my engine is being caused by overheating, which is really bad. My car is getting older so I’m not surprised that it is starting to need repairs. I’ll take it to a mechanic this weekend to get it fixed up and running like new again.

It’s been a while since my son replaced his brake pads so I think they are getting worn down. It’s good to know that if he hears a scratching sound while braking, he needs to go to a mechanic ASAP. I’ll share this information with him so that he can understand what to do.
