This import is being done by companies who claim they have achieved 50% to 70% localization of parts. Yet their share of the import bill is stupendous!
Yet they are being asked to “please continue” and Now other companies are bring asked to do the same. What is going on here?
Why is our idea of localization so costly to our nation?
This obsession of ours with local assembly for local sale is asinine!
