In fact the prices for battery metals have been crashing since 2022 and expected to continue till 2025. So you’ll see more and more discounts on BEVs since raw materials become cheaper and competition increases.

There are literally hundreds of EV brands in China, many of them are local brands Huawei, Zeekr, BYD, Polestar, XPeng, Li Auto and some EV brands are under other major manufacturers like Chang’an and GWM as well as foreign brands such as Merc EQS, EQE Audi e-tron and other Germans. All these cars are competitive in price quality and functionality fully-loaded with features just like the Chinese consumers prefer.

But but but the anticipation buildup for Xiaomi SU7 in the Chinese social media is truly of the hyper level. The whole 1bn+ nation seems to have forgotten everything else except of sharing SU7 on their social media. Xiaomi has a history of democratizing robust durable fast innovative feature-rich appealing and cool new products whether it be their smartphones or home automation IoT products.
