It has gotten so bad that even some of the players like Lucky motors have pointed this out and called this Auto Policy total BS, saying that it promotes localization and industrialization with no actual incentives given to promote localization and industrialization. He even pointed out the EV policy as a Topi Drama, and rightfully so. Who in their right minds would invest their money and set up a whole EV plant only to be able to sell 50kwh EVs aka city cars... They've only made it easier for these companies to import and register luxury EVs and sell these toys to the elite for their pleasure.

This shows how culpable and responsible the local assemblers are for the promotion and spread of this on/premium money business. Data is even available that shows the involvement of these local companies. Why are our dear leaders again playing deaf, dumb and blind?
If they DO ever decide to do anything about this, they will go to their “experts”; the very same local companies involved in all of this and ask them for their advise. Its like asking the robber who just robbed your house on how to protect your house from him.
Our PM is always screaming “industrialization is the way forward”. Oh Bhai jan, proper policies and rules for the industries to monitor and manage them is the need of the day. Otherwise we will always have problems like these where they will bleed the country dry to get their profits.
These very companies were listened to in the current auto policy. Look what happened. These companies I’m sure were involved in giving us the tax to counter Own money. Look how ineffective it is and has made things worse. A neutered policy from the get go.
These companies rack up the highest import bill yet they are protected and cheap used car imports for the masses are demonized and stopped; just so they can sell their overpriced products.

So, in the end, all they’re just doing is take these bookings from their own gaslighted investors, pat them in the back, and then show it to everyone that they’re doing really good, in hopes of convincing some poor soul that actual consumers are rushing out of their homes and buying these assembled vehicles from them as if it’s future gold.

But how long is this gonna work? The investors don’t have an infinite supply of money or an infinite area of storage space. If they keep booking and buying all these cars from the manufacturers, and nobody’s (or at least not enough people are) gonna buy them (cause they cannot afford it, simple as), how long will they be able to afford this Topi Drama until things go financially down?

Pak Suzuki sales high just because of no-competitor on this price tag…otherwise, if you will use this (Dabba) and accelerate the car, engine sounds so noisy. and no any other features is installed that you can say valued for money… people of Pakistan always stands behind the truck lights…

I request for new entrants please do launch hatchback cars ASAP, specially (Proton, Changan, Skoda, VolksWegan,Chery)

One more request to consumers, please discourage the ON / OWN money and wait for your turns… Thanks.

Customers must stop paying own money, they should act morally while buying a car and wait for their turn. That is why the formula in the report is also including customer and it is understandable because unless customers are ready to be befouled, legally no one can do anything against businesses. The reason, in the end businesses are paying taxes and customer is showing an agreement at their methods.
Moreover, it is quiet impossible to process a transaction without someone’s knowledge these days. Unless of course that 170 billion was moved as a cash, however, even then the business cannot manage its dual book keeping system because they would have to adjust the second head of account somewhere in their records.
