Changan’s Alsvin sedan has been making rounds on the internet since images of camouflaged test mules as well as undisguised test units have appeared already. Now another unit was spotted in Lahore with its emblems hidden but this time you can get a good look at its interior too.

Interestingly the interior was half black & half beige/ black which means Changan is probably figuring out which interior color should be introduced in Pakistan. The impressive cabin shows a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel with silver embellishments, a beautifully lit speedometer cluster with multi-information display, a floating 7-inch touchscreen multimedia unit and digital AC controls.
What’s more interesting is when you note the gear lever since the Alsvin, in addition to 5-speed manual comes with a 5-speed WDCT (Wet Dual Clutch Transmission) which will be a huge plus for our market due to its smooth & steady shifting.
A Karachi registered Changan Alsvin test unit was seen in Lahore
The unit was Karachi registered and as per the data from Excise Sindh website, the vehicle does belong to Master Motors and carries a 1.5 liter engine under its hood as previously reported by us. Upon arrival, the Changan Alsvin sedan will take on the likes of Toyota Yaris, Honda City as well as the upcoming Proton Saga. However with the presence of 1.5L engine, the Alsvin will go head to head against the City Aspire and Yaris AtivX trims.
