All of these newcomers, which in fact all are second or may be third tier automakers (with exception of Kia & Hyundai) trying to compete with very well-established first tier automakers in Pakistan, by just offering a miniscule price difference thinking that they have somehow established in the rest of the world.

Main point they have certainly missed is in the rest of the world these automakers made themselves by offering major price difference and providing more options than available options, like Hyundai and Kia.

They think they can use that image as it is in Pakistan as well, which is wrong. Yes, it can be true for a handful of customers but not the whole market in general. People need to see the benefit of moving away from Big 3, despite their old under-spec offerings, both in price and reliability of the vehicle as well as the company.

It seems Changan is falling away in a market where it is already behind the competition.

PKR 2.7million, with that much money, one can get a new Toyota Yaris although underequipped it nevertheless is more durable than this sweetly wrapped and shiny Chinese steel box.
