Changan Gives an Interior Upgrade to Karvaan Plus

Master Changan has introduced an interior upgrade to its popular Karvaan Plus MPV. According to the company, this is the 2nd key improvement in Karvaan’s 4 years of presence in the market.

The interior of Changan Karvaan Plus now gets new beige-gold seats with 66% more cushioning, added 4 layers of spring, and 16 spring retainers. The MPV now also gets new plush carpeting instead of PVC mats. The upgraded Karvaan Plus is priced at Rs 2,999,000 (ex-dealership). The company says the limited inventory is available on a first come first serve basis.

The exterior and mechanicals remain unchanged. Changan Karvaan Plus continues to be powered by a 1.0L naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 68 hp of power and 92 Nm of torque, sending power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. Features include electric power steering, front power windows, central locking, keyless entry, beam height adjuster, 3-point ELR seatbelts for driver & front passenger, seatbelt reminder system, adjustable headrests for all seats, 4-way adjustable seats for front row, 2-way adjustable seats for the second row, fold-down seats for 2nd & 3rd row, air conditioning with dual-zone AC vents and stereo system with MP3/AM & FM/AUX+USB support.
