many times it is discussed that no body knows what is actual formula of price formulation. It seems like people do the math if we sale this much more unit on lesser price and if we sale less unit on higher price what will be the profit. So most of the time they go for lesser units with higher price.

…and with the unchecked rise in the prices for the two wheelers as well what really scares me is that the day might not be far off when the bicycle is considered “awam ki sawari”. 😟

Soon hatchback like alto will be priced at above 2.5 m. and it would be normal.
Keeping in view of the trend, nobody knows when prices will stabilize. So far no hope in this country.

Surely a first step in the right direction, the inventory building part was a very welcome tactic. Previously we saw this with the 2008. This ensures that whomsoever buys these vehicles actually get them without any long waiting period being given the very next day of launch like how our “japani” assemblers are doing.

That is good to know. When some people in Toyota and Suzuki dominated and obsessed KPK are considering this and buying it, that means there is something to it.

I hope they keep up the pace and increase capacity and lower delivery times. That is one of the ways they can achieve further market penetration if they deliver much sooner than their rivals. (covid delays are there but they are getting sorted out.)

I hope they do and I also hope they give a serious push to achieving max localization. These guys also did the right thing by assembling the cars for over a month before the launch date. That means they put effort into making sure the kinks are worked out of the assembly process and they also have built up some inventory. 👍

Also, this thing is Euro 6! Our desi japani are still dragging euro 2 for some unknown reason. Its not like they manufacture ANY of the engines. Their profiteering is weird. 🤔 🤷‍♂️

Exactly! Launching something like a Civic at 60 lacs is just insane when you realize that there is a whole bouquet of choices available in less than that.

And you’re right about the 580 pro… an under 50 lac price for a vehicle like that seems impossible nowadays where everyday we are getting used to hearing a more and more ridiculous price for a new vehicle.
