You might have point that it might not have the space of the small alto or Mehran. For passenger space, the article does say:

“Due to a greater wheelbase to length ratio, the QQ Ice Cream can accommodate 4 passengers with ease.”

Also as this is an EV, it will also have a storage space under the front hood. So it will have some storage.

But I think this EV has a different purpose. It is not meant to be a primary family car. It only has a range of 120 to 170 KM depending on chosen battery size. That means it is a small city run about. Make the school run, go to the shops or get to the office, those types of activities.
If someone buys it, it will be the second car to help reduce the fuel bill by using this in the city and just using the petrol car for long distances.

Agreed, Kei cars in general were always a headache for people above 6 ft. in height.

About the car’s spaciousness, it seems that this car is just a intercity/neighborhood people’s carrier, made to reliably carry 2 people at a time, perhaps even 3. It’s marketed as a better option compared to having a motorbike instead. I think it would be best to describe it as something in the league of Mercedes’s Smart ForTwo. It’s not made for highways and long travels, just something you can go to the market to or take a short ride on.

It measures just 2,980 mm long, 1,496 mm wide and 1,637 mm tall, but with a wheelbase of 1,960 mm and is almost a foot & a half shorter than the [8th gen] 660cc Suzuki Alto we have here which measures 3,395mm in length.

Not only it is 16″ shorter than 8th generation Alto, it is 8″ smaller than FX & Mehran.

People not even 6 feet tall always had problems fitting in tiny cars in Pakistan – it results in poor ergonomics hunching crouching and vertebral problems later on.

The new 8th generation Alto is a welcome breath of air because it is so spacious inside.

Compare it with FX & Mehran which were 3,195 mm long, 8th gen Alto offers a lot more room for something which is only 8 inches longer.

The new QQ looks like it has no trunk. It means the seats will be bigger and more spacious than FX despite 8″ shorter.

Alphabet (formerly Google) also names their versions of Android after desserts.

I hope this gets launched in Pakistan as well! It could very nicely get used as an intercity or neighborhood EV, something to use as a daily driver.
