What is wrong with the industry in Pakistan? Why are we so lethargic and not forward looking when it comes to establishing business here? Including the useless old three, It's like the people in charge and the businessmen have decided that Pakistan will not become a world player and will not, in any meaningful way, join the international business community. Regardless of the brand, Judging by the easy with which these other countries (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Nigeria, Ghana, Vietnam etc.) are establishing and expanding their auto industries, it is not a far fetched conclusion that our industry in Pakistan is being forcibly kept back and not allowed to prosper. It is either that, or it means we have some very incompetent people sitting in the government who have no clue about what to do. Either way it is not good for us.]]> As the article states, many of the jap and euro brands made in Russia were exported to these countries. By exiting Russia, not only have these brands lost the Russian market, they have lost these countries as well. I hope they know what they are doing. 😱
