Yes Toyota did experiment with these technologies first. Back when Toyota was still innovative. But where are they now? Instead of further developing their Hydrogen fuel cell, they are interested in burning it in Hydrogen combustion engines. After failing to make their own EVs, they are having BYD make EVs for them.

What’s their strategy here? 🤔
