My friend owns it and it is much nore spacious than City and built was good too. I do not agree that it lacked features, it had equal features as smilarly priced model of city or even Yaris. There is no point in comparing it’s features to Thai or Indian version. Pak suzuki failed a good car, they could have revived it when they launched facelift in India back on 2018 by bringing facelift and bigger engine here but couldn’t do as Thai model was still old but now again when they launched facelift for Thai version they could have corrected their mistake but still they did not, although I still disagree if It lacked too much of features.

if they had rebadged ciaz as margalla, I think sales figure would have been higher.

I do not agree with you, my sister’s husband owns it and though even my sister is not that enthusiastic of cars. Believes that Ciaz is exceptionally well-built and spacious and has comfortable ride too, they recently travelled to MirpurKhaas in it and she was talking about car’s comfort.
Another thing, you are ignoring to realise a simple fact that given the value of your currency, you cannot afford to own a decent newer sedan in under PKR 1.8m price bracket. As auto-industry is still mostly relying on imported parts until today. True that recent price increase was unfair as dollar stabilised but still, it is standing at an elevated point than it used to be about three years ago. To support my logic, I would give you an example of imported black honey (Al-Shifa) that I recently got for my father. It used to be available for PKR 450, now, however, it costs about PKR 2,250. As no local option is available and that honey is good for diabetic patient people are bound to buy it.
Lastly, I would also remind you about Suzuki Baleno, as we have owned it, I can confidently claim that it is not a cheap quality junk product and is better than Kia products, even City cannot contend against it. During our ten years rough usage the car’s interior retained its true colour. The review of it, grateful thanks to bhai Usman, is available on car spirit PK.

Why would I pay a dime over 1.8M (current prices for cars) for anything having a Suzuki badge on it which is synonymous with cheap and low quality unreliable junk?
