If we take a critical look at our society, we are a “Yazeedi nation” who enjoy immense gratification in depriving others. As an example let’s take a look at the situation of water, a basic life-necessity. People living in 60 sq. yd. homes are also suffering for municipal water, forced to buy tankers and dig tubewells. People living in apartments, housing societies, townships and gated communities are also scarce of water. Owner of 16 factories is also complaining about water and feudals having 50,000+ acres of arable land are also complaining about water. Hear hear water is the most abundant resource in Pakistan compared to other countries. Pakistan has rivers lakes glaciers dams and shoreline. Yet the water crisis has always been there despite all these gifts of nature only because of our Yazeedi approach to stop the water of others.
We as a nation must look hard and deep at this sadistic aspect of our culture and actively root it out, otherwise we’re going to continue “enjoying” the rewards of needlessly & shamelessly depriving others.

When I first saw this crossover, I also though this would be a good fit for the local market. Even if it does fall in the price range of the Corolla, I don’t think it will be that much of a big deal. The “main ty corolla he ly san” crowd will ALWAYS buy the corolla no matter what. Those willing to try something new will go for this. And Toyota Indus need not worry because starlet or corolla both are their products and at the end of the day the profit is theirs.

This needs serious consideration for Pakistan’s market if they want to keep themselves relevant and in the game. 👍
