Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me again and again, I'm a glutton for punishment just because "mai te Toyota he lay sa". Bow down once. OK bad luck. bow down twice, well there are some issues. But how many times does this make? Almost every Toyota subsidiary and Toyota itself have taken the "bow" in the past year or so. This shows a company that has systemic problems of lying, cheating and gaming the system for their own benefits. This a a running problem of corruption and cutting corners. And especially for the Toyota fans; in Pakistan we don't have any sort of car rating system, be it safety, mileage or emissions etc. God know what they are selling and removing (safety strengthening for the cars) just to maximize profit. And lastly, while the Japanese have been busy bad mouth EVs and taking the bow for cheating at the one thing they claim to be the best at, namely the ICE vehicles, the Chinese and other European and US brands like Tesla have been moving forward at lighting speed (in EVs). Good work Toyota! At least your execs are getting some exercise.
