The article is presenting a financial thing as though it is only performed in Pakistan and in automobile sector, it is an accounting mechanism that is the base of entire capitalist system and if we really are against it then we should also stop accepting salaries through banks.
Moreover, people should also even avoid taking the interest included in gratuity amount.

This has been a big problem ever since the dawn of vehicle assembling in Pakistan. The only difference back then and now is that delivery times have become longer and price changes have become more frequent and expensive. It is like a tradition of more than 30 years at this point...
