Regal Automobiles has finally launched the Glory 580 Pro crossover SUV in Pakistan in a virtual event streamed on its official Facebook page.
The DFSK Glory 580 Pro is slotted above the regular Glory 580 variants and is marketed as the only 7-seat intelligent SUV with voice command function. According to the company, Glory 580 Pro features 100 voice commands with 28 specifically made for Pakistan. In addition to this, the crossover SUV hailed from China boasts a number of useful & interesting features which are not available in most vehicles of its class or price range.
Exterior features include smart key-less entry, rain sensing wipers, LED headlamps with DRLs and cornering lamps, power folding side mirrors, hammer pattern LED tail lights, sequential turn signals, embedded spoiler with stop lamp, shark fin antenna, fog lamps, rear windshield wiper & dual exhausts with chromic housings, chrome door handles and 18-inch alloy wheels.
The interior features leather seats, multi-function steering wheel, engine start/ stop button, 9-inch floating touchscreen multimedia system with Bluetooth & Smartphone connectivity, GPS navigation, climate control with rear air vents, meter cluster with digital multi-info display, cruise control, panoramic sunroof, 2+3+2 seating configuration for 7, electronic parking brake, power tailgate, headlight height adjuster, built-in dash cam recorder & power adjustable front seats with 6-way adjustments for driver & 4-way for front passenger.
In terms of safety the Glory 580 Pro is equipped with 4 airbags, ABS with EBD & BA, ESP & traction control, hill start assist, tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors & camera with 360o assist, built-in security alarm system & engine immobilizer etc.

Under the hood, there is a 1.5 liter turbocharged engine that produces 150hp of power and 220Nm of torque sending power to the front wheels via a 6-speed CVT gearbox. The vehicle is backed by company’s 3-years/ 60,000km warranty.
The biggest surprise however was the price. As previously indicated on company’s Facebook page and bre-booking ads, the Glory 580 Pro was priced at PKR 44.0 lac, however the vehicle got a price bump upon launch with PKR 45.49 lac as its retail value.

But considering the features & value for money it offers, the Glory 580 Pro is still the least expensive option among the competition with an added advantage of being a 7-seat crossover SUV. The DFSK Glory 580 Pro will compete against the likes of Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, Proton X70 and the MG HS whereas with a price tag lower than that of Honda Civic turbo, the 580 Pro will also entice expensive sedan buyers into buying a fully loaded crossover SUV.
