The double standards are high when it comes to public perception about the West and this is why terminology like “reverse racism” is quickly rising in the social discourse.

Where opinion can Pakistan have about it: The military friendship of Pakistan with both France and China goes a long way. Superficially the Pakistani public is always protesting in front of the Press Club about the wrong treatment of Uyghurs in China and also holds grudge against France for its pro-stance about blasphemous caricatures, but deeply France has historically been the main supplier of Pakistani military whether it be Agosta submarines, Mirage fighter planes or heavy water for the nuclear power generation. Pakistani airlines whether private whether government have also since long shifted from Boeing to Airbus because the US cannot be trusted, despite claiming to be the best ally and spending billions in USAID to Pakistan, USA always randomly applies economic sanctions on Pakistan.
China has also been the main supporter of Pakistan in the South Asian subregion plus in the international scenario i.e the UNO and other conferences. Needless to say that China has achieved this status not without the help of Pakistan in terms of diplomacy – whether it be taking Zhou Enlai to the Bandung Conference or whether it be facilitating the secret visits of Henry Kissinger to Beijing.
