The rest of your rant is just as flawed.

The Chinese are still offering hybrids but are fast adopting and offering EV options in their vehicle lineups.

The problem with Toyota is not hybrid. It is pushing hybrid to the detriment of all other alternative technologies. Instead of concentrating on EV technology they are concentrating in Hydrogen Combustion engines NOT even on Hydrogen fuel cell technology which they have commercial products for. Instead of going for what customers are asking for, their top brass are doctoring legislation and spreading false information about EV technology to the general public in Japan. Do you see the strange, detrimental priorities they have?

He might be a “shrewd businessman” according to you be all he is doing is, like any out-of-touch business fossil, he is maintaining a status quo that he is comfortable with and avoiding a change he is finding difficult to grasp. His flawed argument of people going out of jobs is just so much fear for no reason. They will adapt. Don’t EV vehicles require mostly all the same parts? don’t they have seats and wheels and tires and dashboards and interior trims and electronics and body frames and panels etc.

In the past, Robber barons like him also feared the industrial revolution and they spread that fear among the masses. Nothing happened. The industrial age came and we are all the better because of it.

This is just an old man fearing change and fearing loosing his millions in bonuses and fearing getting less money. “commentators generating an ill-informed contribution” such as yourself are exactly the types these guys are looking for to easily manipulate.

However, maybe it is because illiterate fanboys are not aware as to how financial world works and guessing from Chinese car brands continuing to offer hybrids, the Chinese also think that Toyota by offering hybrids is not a sneak and is merely acting like a shrewd businessman and trying to remains financially operational and that the fanboys are wrong. Therefore, I guess that it is not the Toyota that is a sneak, it is the Chinese fanboys who are twisting actual facts.

P.S. No business in this world is pure as some commentators generating an ill-informed contribution on this blog believe because doing a business is different from performing philanthropic work and the intent of business and philanthropy is quite different from each other.
