Following the increase in prices announced by Regal Automobiles for the DFSK Glory range of crossovers, Sazgar has now revised the prices of Haval H6 and Jolion SUVs. The duo has witnessed an increase of Rs 200,000 in price after which the H6 will now be available for PKR 64.95 lac whereas the Jolion will be priced at PKR 57.25 lac.

Booking of these vehicles has now been resumed with H6 to be booked against PKR 23.0 lac while Jolion can be booked against PKR 20.0 lac. Deliveries for these new bookings will take at least 6 months as per information. It is pertinent to mention that the company had closed the bookings of these vehicles within a week after announcing the launch, however even now the re-opening of fresh bookings will be valid till 17th June only.
Sazgar was in works to introduce the BAIC range of vehicles in Pakistan but is light lipped about the delays in launch of these vehicles. The company then announced to have signed a deal with Great Wall Motors to market its Haval branded crossover & SUVs in the country, however with its assembly plant yet to become operations, Sazgar is purely dependent on CBUs and is facing supply chain issues amid global semi-conductor shortage which has affected various automakers around the globe after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Whether Sazgar will be able to cope up with these hiccups in bookings and how the increase in prices even before the first unit hitting the roads will affect the company’s reputation in marketing a fresh brand in Pakistan will be an interesting thing to see.
