Well the scenic photo looks like someone from Islamabad is enroute to Khunjerab, and it can be deduced that it took the long way from Dasu dam, because N15 through Babusar top which is basically a 100 km shorter bypass from Mansehra to Chilas is closed due to snowfall. So the 100 km part of N35 KKH from before Daasu to a few km after Bhasha is in worst condition and because it will come underwater once the dams are complete. Hence they aren’t even repairing it, instead they are making a diversion in the KKH by the name of “CPEC road” farther up the mountain. Hence this 100 km road is in a worse condition and you see bad road most often up to Tatta Pani. So if the Sonata went successfully through that patch without breaking its bumpers, silencer or axles etc. then is ok-ish.

Btw would someone want to write a blog post about the road network in Pakistan? There is a lot of work going on for new road construction by NHA, FWO and CPEC of course and it would be good to read it here.
