Honda Civic 1.5L Turbo Relaunched

Honda Atlas has re-launched the Civic 1.5 liter turbo variant in Pakistan. The Honda Civic 1.5L Turbo was discontinued last year due to various complaints regarding the performance of the engine which was unable to cope up with the poor quality of fuel available in the country. Honda also filed a complaint to OGRA, claiming that the petrol additives were damaging engines in its vehicles.

The new Civic turbo is already available at Honda dealerships and is available against a price tag of PKR 35.05 lac. The vehicle comes equipped with a 1497cc L15B7 turbocharged unit that punches out 170hp of power and 220Nm of peak torque, paired to a CVT gearbox.

Right from the beginning the 1.5 liter Turbo variants attracted a lot of customers instead of the regular 1.8 liter variants and Honda received bulk of orders for the Turbo variants compared to the naturally aspirated version. Now that the Civic turbo is available again, it is expected to help boost the sales for Honda vehicles in Pakistan.
