The Honda E came around as a concept at a time when EVs were just getting started. Back then 200kms on a single charge was “acceptable”. But in today’s world, every EV is pushing above and beyond that range, where 200kms is considered laughable. The stupid choice that Honda made was that they didn’t update their model’s power and battery to match today’s EV demands.

What Honda basically did was like launching a 5MP Camera phone in a time full of 50MP Camera phones, for the same price.

so when its about electric cars, people will always prefer american, european, korean or chinese companies, as they have made their name with many popular evs already, but how many evs japanese have? only honda e that will drain its battery in a grocery trip or that lousy bz4x whose wheels fall off??
