being a Honda fan, I really agree with what you have said and I am honestly grieved at Atlas’s downfall. They should’ve brought the 7th gen and with prices around Yaris. OML what have they done to themselves? I just hope that they pick themselves up and try to explore what the Pakistani market wants, if only they increase the quality of their cars they need not worry about other things because they already have a place in almost every Pakistani upper middle class’s household. Mainly due to honda’s racing heritage, driving pleasure, and the vibe with that aura of a Honda cockpit. Also, why don’t automobile manufacturers introduce hatchbacks? Honda can introduce its N series Kei cars in comparison to Alto and also their Fit in a league of its own. OTOH, Toyota can introduce Vitz locally and it will be a huge success. Not to forget Aqua and Mira and Passo. I don’t get why companies don’t invest in hatchbacks, which is the need of a 3rd world country. Also wouldn’t you agree that another reason for the 6th gen city doing poorly is because it already has been in the market as a JDM import for years. Honda Grace. It is much better in quality, options and features and it also comes as a hybrid.
It’s like Asking some one to forgo that and spend a good amount on a local assembled and much inferior product. I believe most people (funds willing) will still spent the extra amount and buy the JDM even though it is a used import.

People who chose to buy Honda used to be the well-educated executive class whose offspring would be ricers @ 2-darya. Honda’s cars had 2 segments on the extremes of the car-buying segment. Thus the same car which would be executive class when new, after a few years it would be riced up with turbo and racing @ 2-darya.
