The other thing is, who is making the EVs for Honda? If they say they are making them on their own. This is good and bad at the same time. Good, because finally they are waking up. Bad, because they had the capability to make EVs all along. They just chose to ignore them and lobby against them for no reason. That is bad business one would think.

To cater to the Chinese market, they really Chinese-a-fied their designs. Both inside AND outside!
However, the Japanese are not that great in translating their designs from concept to actual product. Much of it gets lost in translation and sacrificed to budget cuts to keep the cost down. Let’s see what the final product will look like…
