I think 1.6L version is not going to be priced under 4million, because it is unviable and does not let them connect with their Elantra customer. Moreover, they cannot remain operational if they are going to start pricing every vehicle lower. They did that with Sonata because they knew it was a big car and it had all the potential to break into the market a big car. Therefore, by pricing it with minimalistic profit, they have made it their bread and butter and costs of such a product are recovered from product that only few people would buy because of their perception to then being an owner of a car. People want Elantra because it is something else than Corolla, they are willing to pay for it because they want to taste the fact that they are not a Corolla user, they are rather a different breed whose taste is unique.
