It will ensure its presence in all the segments. However, I still think the Elantra is underrated in Pakistan. If you look at what you are getting in the price, it is a very good compact sedan. Yes, it is 2L and the taxes are higher. But if you consider the purchase price of this thing compared to a Corolla Grande, the choice then becomes, do you want to save on the car and spend on tax (Elantra) or spend on the car and save on the tax (Corolla); I think it evens out. 🤷‍♂️
