The “on-money apologists” would use this as an example of how the modern societies/developed countries also have on-money culture and portray it as something very positive.
One difference between our society and the US is that in the US, choice is available. Where some cars are being sold on premium but many others are being sold on a discount. Capitalism has enabled the process to bring equilibrium and stability to the market; better, in-demand products are on premium and less attractive products are rebated. But in our case, all the cars are available only on premium, whether it is a high grade product or a low grade product.
While the EV6 is being sold on premium, it is not being done by scalpers. Rather the company itself gets more money, later on that money can be spent on R&D, etc. to enable even better products for the customers. But if a 3rd party scalper/hoarder gets the money, it is just wasted to greed.
