Waiting for price of changhan and proton sedans I am going to purchase kia picanto if changhan and proton launch there lower variant sedan on price of kia picanto auto price then obviously I will go for sedan 🙂

Simple and clear not a single new company can beat big 3 in Pakistan it’s all about price if changhan and proton give there sedan car at price near 22 or 23 lac then it’s better to purchase Honda or Toyota . Changhan and proton have to launch there sedan between 2.0 to 2.1 of there lower variants so they can easily break big 3 in Pakistan …

The strategy should be to first capture the market share by selling it cheap and then once the car has its market value then they can easily raise the prices. They have to sell at a very cheap cost if they want to survive for 6 months – 1 year. Price must be around 17 lac maximum

In my humble opinion, no one will be buying an untested/unproved company’s car (in Pakistan) just to save around 2 lacs. If someone can spend 23-24 lacs on these cars they can add 2 lacs easily and can get themselves a Honda/Toyota (aka peace of mind in Pakistan). To make people buy these cars, these should be along the prices of cheaper options with a bit of a meaningful difference may be 4-5 lacs then people might buy these cars.

Cultus and picanto priced 2million while Yaris and city 2.5million. it’s better to maintain prices of Sega and Alsvin 2.2 to 2.4 million for different variants. It will attract customers to buy sedan at very economical prices.

Honda and Toyota sedans are priced at 24 lakhs vs Cultus and Kia hatchbacks at 20 lakhs. In those cases customer pays for the cost of production and the brand image.
Malaysian and Chinese brands do not command that much value. They will have to sell it cheaper otherwise good luck … they are going to fail like the umpteen others.
