Successive US presidents have declared India as a natural ally of NATO.

yeah India has been their ally and Pakistan is their puppet, very well said by Toretto (Fast & the Furious wala 😛 ). West needs Pakistan as a tool to keep the neighboring countries in check, be it AFG, IND or CN.. and then feed its leaders with some bones

Ask the West how much of a puppet for them Pakistan is.
Successive US presidents have declared India as a natural ally of NATO.

Pakistan as a very small country in between very large and powerful countries like India, China, USSR (now extinct) and Iran has always been trying remain globally relevant as well as trying to save itself from any of its large neighbors eating it up.

He is right when he talks about the rule of law and systemic structure issues, but aren’t some of the largest business conglomerates routinely accused of bending the system their own way to serve their own monopolistic capitalistic elite capture methods? Sure if the system is strong these things can’t and won’t happen but who’ll let it strengthen in the face of vested interests?

They look similar, eat similar wear similar but while India and Russia are independent and economic powerhouses, Ukraine and Pakistan are more like puppets of the West.

China and India are economic superpowers, they are not dependent on anyone to dictate their policies. Pakistan is not an independent country, it’s run by a mafia of people juicing it for their own interests. Have you ever seen a country where its leaders (who had nothing before they came into power) become multi-billionaires but the country itself is begging for a mere $1 billion from IMF?

when there is such a big contrast, you can’t sit at a table to talk on equal terms. Mansha is a businessman and he thinks of his own profits, the heck with the country or its matters. Still, half of what he says is true. Pak’s major problem is the lack of civil supremacy, today everyone knows it, poori dunya ka bacha bacha jaanta hai. But the question is, who will put the ring on the big cat’s neck? Once that’s fixed, I think India won’t have any problems making a dialogue with Pakistan and together the two countries will prosper. But aisa hona looks very very mushkil

Long answer:
China is a sizeable country having a comparable geographical area and population w.r.t India. In this regard Pakistan should be compared to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka.

Pakistan does not have only border disputes with India. The entire geography of Pakistan was carved out of what used to be combined India for centuries. Even the Indus river [which gives India its name] is in Pakistan.

For the above 2 reasons, Pakistan needs to be more prudential than China in dealing with India.
