I do not agree, Isuzu D-Max is not a very successful product, otherwise it would have been a top rated Ute in global market rather than Toyota Hilux or a Tacoma. Moreover, haven’t you noticed that Isuzu trucks have a fan-base and Gandhara has been selling them even with market now flooded by Chinese trucks. Yes, the cheap Chinese trucks have not been able to hurt either Hino or Isuzu truck sales as well as was expected, and that is with a fact. The cost of buying one Hino is almost two and half times of a cheaply made Chinese truck. Therefore, it boils down to one point, does not it? Price to durability ratio of D-Max is lower from Toyota Hilux.
As for Nissan Sunny being great, well, masses in Pakistan want to buy a car that is durable in long-term (seven to ten years) rather than one that is comfortable but has been built to last fittingly for three or five years. Sunny, as far as I recall, does not qualify against this requirement. Good day to you.
