Don’t worry suzuki and toyota are making good car, and if you are satisfied with your cultus, is the most important things, thats mean cultus fullfill your needs.
And in sind they maybe not a lot of Kia but in Punjab you can see a lot of them, maybe because we got more showroom, and more ad. Even the spacious mini-van (mpv) grand carnival you can see it in the road of Islamabad as Lahore.

If the 2012 Kia Picanto is already giving trouble to the 2017 cultus (2014 celerio), i cannot imagine what kind of trouble will the 2017 Picanto give to te cultus when will be bring in Pakistan. Because the 2017 Picanto is more sportier in look, inside and outside look more premium compared to the cultus.
At least now we can be sure it was a good move from kia to bring the 2012 Picanto, i hope after one year or two we will get the 2017 version.

May Allah mubarak them to you but I also live in Karachi and in our neighbourhood only one Picanto registered in October can be seen. In contrast, there are four Cultus and several WagonR. If your word about Picanot doing well is to be believed then why so many same registration period Suzuki rather than KIA can be seen? I know that my judgement doesn’t count but one must take actual numbers visible on the road into account. Note also that we are frequent travelers to Hyderabad and Mirpurkhaas and over there people haven’t even heard about KIA, even if you ask them, they say that that rust bucket Pride that turns into trash can after three years.
Furthermore, may be to you my friend quality is fit and finish but for me how well a car is able to survive after hard use for seven to ten years is more of a concern. Our 2017 Cultus old shape is clocking at 40,000 kilometers in harsh conditions and is still living up on original general tires and its dashboard has not even frayed yet. Bear in mind, we do polish it even after it is serviced, is that not quality? To me it is. Can you guarantee the same about KIA? Well obviously no since the car has not passed even 25,000, so until you have something positive to report after that much running, I am Allhamdulillah happy with Cultus and Corolla.

bhai I have both picanto and sportage and they both are a lot fun to drive. And yes picanto is way better than cultus in terms of ride quality, comfort, fit and finish. and not only is picanto doing really well in karachi, its been a bit hit in lahore and faisalabad also although I have not seen many in islamabad/pindi.

I think it more likely to be Alto since the price difference is offering an increased engine capacity only rather than room or comfort. Off old, Mehran was a lot smaller than Cultus, it could hardly accommodate five people in it and while Cultus was comfortable, Mehran was well really stiff. Now, however, the Alto is not so bad afterall, why then most small car buyers should choose a Cultus? To them it is just another small car priced a bit below Yaris but not possessing a trunk, I think they would rather spend another 0.2million and choose Yaris over Cultus.
Other than that Picanto might be a reason too however, I doubt it since a friend of mine working at KIA dealership is currently busy dealing with six Sportages returned by owners for failing to deliver promised ride. If Sportage is not that good then there is also no reason for Picanto to be a major cause of falling Cultus sales. On the other hand, it is also possible that the economy has not yet revived on full scale and thus has failed to effect middle class buyers.
