Nevertheless, I must add that this trigger is still infant and we must see whether or not Alsvin would be able to continue to goad buyers away from Yaris in long-term. I have also heard users lamenting on the Alsvin’s suspension. These are issues that are raising their heads in under few months’ use, I wonder what shape would they take after 50,000 kilometers had been put on such car?
As for fact, whether KIA should introduce a contender against Toyota Yaris or not, the only interest I have in the company’s decision is that the vehicle should be capable of forcing the current Japanese brand partnered assembler into reducing product prices.
Seeing that so far even KIA had failed to stop Corolla Cross from selling, in person the vehicle looks fabulous, it is naive to expect price reduction coming from established assemblers anytime soon.
