In Pakistan this is the general trend: If it is a company car, get automatic. If you are buying for yourself, get a manual.
Reasons being company cars are usually replaced by the company in a few years whereas personal cars tend to drag on for more than 30 years because increasing prices, inflation, dollar rate and no social security and automatics don’t survive for that long.
