Granted that some of the towers are still serving 2G or 2.75G (EDGE), many towers can be upgraded to 5G. They should come up with a pilot project in which select downtown areas, financial districts and upscale localities are initially served with 5G at a slightly higher cost of course to recover the money quickly. The Telephone Industries of Pakistan of Pakistan (TIP) at Haripur Hazara has been lying idle ever since it stopped making telephone sets, it can be repurpose to manufacture 5G mobile tower equipment after purchasing/licensing the technology.
