From the videos all we see is a factory that is not producing or shutdown. Even on an off day there should be people around in such a big compound. Yet we hardly see anyone.

MG seems to have ordered all the parts for assembly. Even the factory seems ready for production. If still it is closed that means MG and the local MG group seriously need to get on top of things. If there is some government policy or rule hindrance, resolve it ASAP. If it some other internal company matter that is causing problems, get on it.

Videos of empty factories with no production is not inspiring.

We have to recognize the fact that all this is happening in Pakistan, where the red tape is seriously thick and starting new endeavors is not a smooth operation. Companies with previously established operations such as Changan and Prince/DFSK have faired better and have brought their products to markets. New setups such as MG or Proton have had issues. There might be something to what they say about government caused delays and not better support.

On the other hand, the rows of the MGs that are shown, if they really are local made and ready, send them out. Start deliveries.

Secondly all we see are black ones. That is so Pakistan.

Its either black or white; with only resale in our sight. 😜

Better not to trust anyone at this point, specially not the government with their ever so frequently changing policies!

This is why investment in Pakistan is mostly a nightmare!

I think the 8.9mil price was for the CBU units. I am hoping they will likely reduce the price once they start sending out these assembled or as they are calling; “Manufactured in Pakistan” vehicles.

How can the company awaits for export order, despite the company unable to meet the requirement of Pakistani market. Further, increase of price to 8.9 million is unjustified, first they should meet the Pakistani order and introduce the remaining product in Pakistani.
