Us Pakistanis are too wishful to be able to even get the scraps of the world. The truth is that the local market is too small volatile and unpredictable, coupled with the fact that nonperformance is rewarded and performance is scrutinized.

Within a year of the news of Mitsu leaving China, Mitsubishi is reentering India it had left earlier (1998-2016). It is a logical order of events carved out by the geopolitics. Many companies have left China (EV-focused market) and Russia (Ukraine war) and the Western countries are more supportive of India given it geostrategic importance. In order to maintain the balance of power, India is being prioritized as a commerce destination and trading partner.

India is a multi-fuel environment and will remain so for some length of time into the future. Their is no way India can shift their masses to EVs quickly. This luxury is proving to be difficult even in the advanced and high level-of-income economies of Europe. India is still very poor with millions of people below the poverty line, the way they are going forward towards environmental sustainability is by increasing the flex-ness of their flex-fuels, from E5 to E10 to E20 onwards. Since agriculture is a big part of the Indian economy, farmers must also be appeased so increasing the demand of their produce by adding another type of customer (oil-marketing companies) will also serve to strengthen the Indian politicians internally and will cause to increase their public acceptance.
