They got a lot of flack for it because like a big cut throat company they sold the rest of netscape but that is an other story. They basically used the technical development of another company to benefit Microsoft just by paying for it.

AMG was in independent tuning house/company before Mercedes bought them.

Whatsapp bought by Facebook/meta. Twitter bought by elon musk/Tesla.

That is what business is. You look to attract talent from the talent pool of the sector you have targeted. That is how you grow your business.

You keep on ragging on the Chinese companies, so tell me this. Most of the Chinese companies like Geeky/link&Co, Neo, BYD, xpung, Changan etc. Have attracted engineering and design talent from big name European companies. IF the Chinese were as bad as you say, why would these world famous career engineers and designers accept their offers and shift to working for them?

Just by looking at the talent that these Chinese companies are attracting, you know these guys mean serious business. That is why big name companies like VW, and others are afraid of the Chinese brands coming to their home markets.

Noted bhai Usman, I hope people like you in Pakistani society increase in numbers as compared to illiterate and oblivious type beings showing up in the shape of Truong and not a robot on your good forum, may your health, peace in life and emaan increase.
Anyway, coming back to our discussion, don’t you think that the link is proving that
Chinese have not contributed to auto industry on their own and they are borrowing work already done by Germans, Americans or Japanese? They have been buying international brands from the U.K., Spain and other European countries and thereby have benefited from the brands goodwill, highly skilled human resources, and carefully created internal processes. In simple words, on their own, they are nothing when it comes to auto industry.
 
P.S. I really dislike Chinese they are the only country in this world that, as an
entire nation, is engaged in slow and painful elimination of a community (Uyghur).

P.P.S. Chinese may have applied same level of corrupted approaches in hacking systems of other auto brands, that they deployed in Smartphone industry. I remember a case against Huawei for stealing Apple’s designs.

I am hoping that you moderated his absolutely useless comment only to correct him. Otherwise this absolutely baseless, incorrect and pointless agenda of his against any car Chinese will only bring down the quality of this blog even more and facilitate more time wasting arguments.
